A unique range of contemporary jewellery using broken watch components in a collaging and layering process. The principal materials used are brass, copper, enamel, steel, nickel and rubies. Jane Mcallister |
|
| |
Jane is a maker of the unusual kind, a sporran maker by trade.
From the decadent draping of once treasured, now abandoned and forgotten figurines, thimbles and collectable teaspoons...
To the jangling famous or unfamous faces round your neck and the flighty, colouful detail of species catagorisation...
Her hands work closely with her head to spin a fanciful range of unique, rare and thoughful jewellery.
These are unexpected and affordable finds.
Made and imagined in Scotland.
